To edit and manage your Fanpage information, you must have Administrator rights.
Method 1:
- Set up your Fanpage Information by going to your Fanpage interface and selecting About from the menu bar.
- Click on the edit icon
in the two sections Overview and Contact info respectively.
Method 2:
- Set up your Fanpage Information by navigating to your Fanpage interface and selecting Settings from the left-hand toolbar.
- Click Overview
- Click on the two sections Overview and Contact info respectively to edit/update the information.
Here you can change the following information:
OVERVIEW:
- Page name: Enter or edit your fanpage’s name. Ensure the name accurately reflects the content of your Fanpage.
RULES FOR CREATING A FANPAGE NAME:
- Minimum of 2 characters and a maximum of 50 characters.
- The name must not include offensive terms or phrases that infringe on someone’s rights.
- Variations of "Soctrip" or its related ecosystem are prohibited.
- Misleading words. If the Fanpage is not the official Fanpage of a brand, place, organization or public figure, the Page name must not mislead others into thinking that it is an official Fanpage or that it is maintained by an authorized representative.
- Username: Enter or update your Fanpage’s username
It's easier for people to find your Fanpage when it has a unique page identifier. Fanpages with identifiers can also create URLs that allow people to quickly access them.
RULES FOR CREATING A USERNAME FOR A FANPAGE
- You can only have one identifier for your Fanpage and cannot claim an identifier that someone else has used.
- Usernames can only contain letters and numbers (A–Z, 0–9). Special characters, including dots (“.”) and hyphens (“-”), are not allowed.
- Usernames must not include common terms or extensions (e.g., .com, .net).
- You must be an admin to create or change a Fanpage's identifier.
- Usernames must comply with Soctrip’s Terms and conditions.
- Category: Choose to add new categories or edit the classifications for your fanpage. A fanpage can have up to three categories.
- Location: Enter your fanpage’s address by typing keywords and selecting the correct address from Soctrip’s suggestions.
- Description: Add a brief description of your fanpage, or introduce your products and services.
- Website: Enter your fanpage’s website URL.
CONTACT INFO:
- Email: Add your fanpage’s email address.
- Phone number: Select an area code and enter your phone number.
- Link: Click Add link to include multiple website URLs for your fanpage.
- Set up your Fanpage Information by visiting your Fanpage’s interface
- On your Fanpage, scroll right to the menu bar and select About
- Tap the edit icon
