Shop management setup

The shop management page is dedicated to shop owners to deploy services providing diverse products to users with effective management tools and easy operating procedures from Soctrip.

 

Shop management settings include:

Shop analytics

Shop analytics helps shop owners compile business data over a period of time to assess the overall business situation more conveniently.
What information does shop statistics provide?

Shop statistics help you grasp the shop figures clearly and quickly.

Include:

  • Total incomes: Total revenue earned from completed orders.
  • Total orders: Total number of paid orders during the selected period, including canceled or returned/refunded orders.
  • Canceled orders: Total number of orders canceled during the selected period.
  • Conversion rate: Number of buyers who paid for orders divided by the total number of visitors, during the selected time period. (Each buyer is counted only once, even if they purchase multiple times. Each visitor is counted only once, even if they visit multiple times).
  • Visitors: The total number of visitors who viewed your product detail pages and shop during the selected time period. Each visitor is counted only once, even if they visit the product or shop multiple times.
  • Shop views: Total number of times users viewed your product detail pages and shop across both Mobile and Desktop during the selected time period.
  • Sales by order: The average value of the product(s) sold in a single order from your shop during the selected time period. Total sales divided by total orders.
  • Refund orders: Total number of refund orders during the selected time period. Total canceled money amount/order refund: Total amount from canceled orders and refunds.
  • Sales heatmap: Statistics of the number of orders by specific day and time.
  • Buyer overview: Provides an overview of customer types, including New Buyers, Existing Buyers, and Potential Customers.
  • Sales overview: is a tool that helps you analyze sales performance metrics at each step in the ordering process.
        • Visitors: The total number of visitors who viewed your product detail pages and shop during the selected time period. Each visitor is counted only once, even if they visit the product or shop multiple times.
        • Buyers (1): Total number of buyers with at least one order during the selected time period.
        • Sales (1): Total value of buyer orders during the selected time period, including canceled sales and returned/refunded sales. Sales include both paid and unpaid sales.
        • Buyers (2): Total number of buyers with at least one confirmed order during the selected time period.
        • Sales (2): Total value of orders placed by buyers that were confirmed during the selected time period, including canceled and returned/refunded orders.
        • Sales by buyer: Total value of confirmed orders divided by the total number of buyers with confirmed orders during the selected time period.
        • “Visits - Place order” Conversion rate = Buyers (Place order) / Visitors.
        • “Place order - Confirm” Conversion rate = Buyers (Confirm) / Buyers (Place order).
        • “Visit - Confirm” Conversion rate = Buyers (Confirm) / Visitors.
  • The top 10 products are ranked based on sales, units sold, views, and confirmed conversion rate over the selected time period.
  • The top 10 categories are ranked based on confirmed sales and units sold during the selected time period.

How to customize the time period for tracking shop activity

You can choose the time period to monitor your shop’s overall activity in the following ways:

  1. In the shop dashboard, click on the time box in the upper right corner of the screen.
  2. Select the corresponding time period to see an overview of your shop’s activities.
      • Today
      • Yesterday
      • Past 7 Days
      • Past 30 Days
      • By Day
      • By Week
      • By Month
      • By Year

Click on the Refresh button to refresh the statistics table in real time if you choose to monitor current statistics.

How to view shop product ranking

In the Shop analytics options menu, select Product ranking to see how your shop’s products are ranked based on sales, units sold, views, and confirmed conversion rate over the selected time period.

The ranking board displays from left to right the following information:

  • The change in the product's ranking order compared to the previous time period.
  • The ranking order of the products during the selected time period.
  • Product: Image and Product Name.
  • Sales: Product revenue during the selected time period.
  • Quantity: Number of products sold during the selected time period.
  • Views: Number of product views during the selected time period.
  • Conversion rate: The conversion rate is calculated by dividing the number of products sold by the number of product views during the selected time period.
  • Rating: The rating that users gave the product during the selected time period.

To find a specific product, enter the product name in the Search product box.

To optionally rate products over a certain period of time, click the time box and select the desired period.

To choose product ratings for each category, tick the category you want to rate the product in the All categories box.

To download the entire product ranking information, click the Export button.

 

How to view shop product category ranking

In the Shop analytics options menu, select Category ranking to see the ranking order of your shop’s categories based on confirmed sales and units sold during the selected time period.

The ranking board displays from left to right the following information:

  • The change in the ranking order of a product category compared to the previous time period.
  • The ranking order of the category over the selected time period.
  • Category: Product category name.
  • Sales: Revenue of the product category during the selected time period.
  • Quantity: Number of products of the category sold during the selected time period.

To search for a specific category, enter the category name in the Search category box.

To optionally rank categories over a certain time period, click the time box and select the desired period.

To download the entire product category ranking information, click the Export button.

Shop management

With the shop management feature, sellers can easily manage shop information, while managing the access rights of shop administrators, ensuring tasks are assigned appropriately. You can also adjust the sales currency to match your target market and turn shop operations on or off as needed, giving you more flexibility to adjust your business and respond to emerging situations.
How to view/edit shop information

Sellers can view shop information by selecting Shop management in the left column of the screen. In the Shop information section, the shop’s set information will be displayed, including:

  • Shop information:
        • Shop name
        • Shop code
        • Phone number
        • Pick up address: Country, City/Province, District, Ward
        • Enable/Disable buyers to export electronic invoices
  • Verified information:
        • Business type
        • Image of 2 sides of citizen identification card
        • Business license (for business type)
        • Note (if any)

Here, sellers can edit shop information in the following ways:

  1. Click the Edit button in the upper right corner of the shop information panel.
  2. Edit the information you want to change.
  3. Click Save.
  4. As a confirmation message appears, continue to click Save to complete changing the information.
How to manage Shop administrators

Sellers can manage shop administrators by selecting Shop management in the left column of the screen and then selecting Shop administrator.

STEPS TO ADD AN ADMINISTRATOR:

  1. Click Add account
  2. Click on the Select account box
  3. Enter the account name in the Type to search box
  4. Tick the account you want to add as an administrator
  5. Tick to select a management permission:

    b.pngAdmin: the highest level of management, responsible for the entire shop manager.
    b.pngProduct management: responsible for managing all information related to the shop’s products (creating, updating, deleting products, managing product categories, etc.)
    b.pngPromotion management: responsible for managing promotions for the shop (setting up discount codes, participating in promotional programs, and monitoring the effectiveness of promotional campaigns, etc.)
  6. Click Save to complete adding the administrator.

STEPS TO EDIT STAFF ACCOUNT PERMISSIONS:

  1. In the staff account list, click Edit account
  2. Tick the management permission of the administrator you want to change
  3. Click Save
  4. As a confirmation message appears, continue to click Save to complete editing.

STEPS TO DELETE A STAFF ACCOUNT

  1. In the list of staff accounts, click on the icon corresponding to the staff you want to remove the administrative permissions from
  2. As a confirmation message appears, click Delete to complete.
How to pause sales

To pause sales, the seller selects Shop management in the left column of the screen and then selects Advanced settings. Here, turn on the Sales suspension button. The shop will stop getting new orders from buyers and existing orders will still be fulfilled.

How to change shop currency

The currency setting will apply to all products sold in the shop. To change the shop currency, the seller selects the Shop management section in the left column of the screen and then selects Advanced settings.

  1. Turn on the Sales suspension button to pause sales.
  2. Click Change currency
  3. Select the currency
  4. Click Confirm
  5. As a confirmation message appears, tick the I understand… box and then click Confirm to complete the change.

Note: This change only changes the currency and does not automatically convert the old value to the new currency rate. Product prices must be manually updated to the new currency.

Shop page design

The shop page design tool helps sellers create an attractive and professional shop page, from changing cover photos, and profile pictures, to arranging banners and product categories. These changes not only help the shop stand out more but also support sellers in organizing products more clearly, making it easier for customers to find and choose products.
How to design a shop page using a sample theme

Sellers can use Soctrip's sample themes to design their shop page quickly and conveniently by following these steps:

  1. Select Shop decoration in the left column of the screen
  2. Select the available template theme in the left column of the design interface
  3. As a confirmation message appears, click Preview to preview the sample theme
  4. Click Apply to apply the sample theme to your shop.
  5. Edit the sample theme to your shop’s needs:
    • Left column of the editing interface: drag and drop each block to the given position of the shop header to add images, text, products, and categories.
    • Right column of the editing interface:

    • The shop page in the middle of the editing interface:

      b.png In the Select tab box at the top of the screen, select Create new tab to add a section to the page, then enter the item name and click Create.
      b.pngIn the horizontal boxes at the top of the shop page, click the box to edit the section name or click the button to delete the section from the page. Click the arrow button to change the section’s position on the shop page.
      b.pngIn the image area, to add a photo, click the Choose button. To delete a photo, press the X corresponding to the photo you want to delete.
      b.pngIn the text area, enter a title or any text you want. Use the formatting buttons above to format the text.
      b.pngIn the product area, press the button to select the product to display. Tick the product you want to add and then press Add or untick to hide the product.
      b.pngTo arrange the areas on the shop page, click the arrow buttons to move the areas around or click the button mceclip5.png to remove them from the page.
  6. Click Save to complete your shop design.
How to customize the shop page design

Sellers can flexibly customize the shop page design to best suit the characteristics and nature of the shop by doing the following:

  1. Select Shop decoration
  2. Select Edit to customize to your shop’s needs:
    • In the Select tab box, select Create new tab to add an item on the page, then enter the section name and click Create.
    • Left column of the editing interface: drag and drop each block to the given position of the shop header to add images, text, products, and categories.
    • Right column of the editing interface:
