Pricing & Availability

Room pricing setting and management tools help property owners (collectively referred to as “hotel” owners) manage room availability, create attractive promotions and discounts to attract new customers and retain existing ones. You can easily set up discounts for each room type with certain booking conditions, thereby boosting sales and increasing competitiveness.

 

Rate plans

In the hotel owner management interface, select the Rate plans section under the Pricing & Availability category in the left-hand column of the screen.

STEPS TO CREATE A RATE PLAN:

  1. Click Add rate plan
  2. Select a rate plan:
    • Non-refundable
    • Early-bird
    • Customize
  3. Set up a rate plan:
    • Enter rate plan name
    • Select a cancellation policy
    • Set up booking restrictions:
      b.pngIf you select Yes to set minimum stay for the rate plan: enter the number of nights.
      b.pngIf you select Yes to set a reservation time limit before check-in date: enter the number of days.
    • Set up meal plan
    • Select accompanied services
    • Select applicable room
    • Check the Publish this pricing plan box to start applying the rate plan.
  4. Click Save to save the information.

RATE PLAN MANAGEMENT:

  • In the search box, enter Name or ID to search.
  • Use filters to find rate plans:
    b.pngClick Filter
    b.pngSelect Room name or Cancellation policy and click Apply
    b.pngClick Reset to refresh the filter
  • Actions for established rate plans:
    b.pngClick on the ID code to see details of the corresponding rate plan.
    b.pngToggle this button battat1.png to enable/disable public rate plans
    b.pngEdit: Click on the ID code or the button 3cham - Copy.png , select Edit rate plan. Update the information and click Save to complete.
    b.pngDelete: click 3cham - Copy.png then choose Remove. A confirmation message appears, click Remove to complete.
Availability

In the Pricing & Availability category on the left-hand column of the screen, select Availability.

STEPS TO SET UP AVAILABILITY:

  • At the availability interface:
  • Click the arrows <> to view the previous month/year and next month/year calendars or select a specific month you want to view. </>
  • Click the button Today to view the current available calendars.
  1. Select the room to set up
  2. Select the time to apply the available price
  3. Select price settings by each day of the week
  4. Booking setup: Open, Closed
  5. Select the number of rooms you want to sell
  6. Enter extra bed surcharge price
  7. Select rate plan: Enter room price
  • Click Save to record the available price.
  • Click Cancel to remove the available price you just set.

Edit availability:

Once set up, the availability calendar interface will display the number of remaining rooms and the selling price each day.

To change the available price settings, select the room and time period you want to change, then update the information and click Save to complete.

Promotions

In the Pricing & Availability category on the left-hand column of the screen, select Promotions.

PROMOTION SETUP STEPS:

  1. Click Add promotion
  2. Enter promotion name
  3. Select rate plans that applies the special offer
    • Select rate plans that applies promotion:
      b.pngAll rate plans
      b.pngSelect specific rate plans: Check the box of specific rate plan
    • Select room to apply promotion:
      b.pngAll rooms in selected rate plans
      b.pngSelect specific rooms: Check the box of the specific rooms
  4. Enter the discount % for the promotion policy
  5. Enter budget and promotion quantity:
    • Unlimited
    • Enter amount/quantity limit
  6. Set up extra discount policy:
    • Click Add new
    • Enter the booking time in advance of check-in date to apply the promotion
    • Enter the corresponding extra discount %.
  7. Select the length of stay to apply the promotion:
    • Anytime
    • Select specific dates: Start date, End date, Day of week.
  8. Select booking time to apply the promotion
    • Anytime
    • Select specific dates: Start date, End date.
  9. Review the promotion summary in the right column of the promotion creation interface.
  10. Check the Publish this promotion box to make the promotion public.
    Click Save to complete the promotion creation.

PROMOTION MANAGEMENT:

  • Track promotion status:

    b.pngOngoing
    b.pngUpcoming
    b.pngExpired
  • In the search box, enter the Promotion name to search.
  • Use filters to find promotions:
    b.pngClick Filter
    b.pngSelect stay dates, booking dates, or discount percentage and click Apply.
    b.pngClick Reset to refresh the filter.
  • Actions for established promotions:
    b.pngClick on the promotion name to view the corresponding promotion details.
    b.pngToggle this button battat1.png to enable/disable promotion application.
    b.pngEdit promotion: Click the button 3cham - Copy.png, select Edit. Update the information and click Save to complete. Note: You can only edit Upcoming promotions.
    b.pngDelete promotion: Toggle this button on battat1.png to disable the promotion, click the button 3cham - Copy.png, choose Delete. A confirmation message appears, click Delete to complete.
Taxes and fees

At the Settings category located in the left column of the screen, select Taxes and fees.

STEPS TO SET UP TAXES AND FEES:

Taxes applied to room rates for staying guests::

  1. Click Add new
  2. Enter the tax name and corresponding percentage value
  3. Click Save to complete

Fees applied to room rates for staying guests:

  1. Click Add new
  2. Enter the fee name and corresponding percentage value
  3. Click Save to complete.

TAX AND FEE MANAGEMENT:

  • Edit: Click on the icon edit1.png next to the tax/fee you want to edit. Update the information and click Save to complete.
  • Delete: Click on the icon thungrac2.png next to the tax/fee you want to delete. A confirmation message appears, click Delete to complete.
