Manage tour bookings

The tour management feature of Soctrip not only helps you keep track of the status of booked tours, monitor information, and stay updated on itinerary changes but also ensures you can perform necessary actions to handle any arising situations (if any) promptly. Additionally, tour management helps store the history of booked tours and optimize your travel experience on Soctrip, providing you with convenience and satisfaction when planning your trips.

How to look up tour booking ID on the home page interface?

  1. Select Search booking ID
  2. Enter booking ID and PIN code in the booking
  3. Click Search

How to manage tour bookings?

After booking a tour, you can track your booking by clicking on thecongcu1.pngicon on the toolbar and then go to My bookings.

  1. In the Search box, enter the booking code or tour name to search
  2. Click on the booking status you want to track to see all bookings in that status.
  3. Click on the tour booking to view details. Full booking information is displayed here:
    • Tour overview
    • Traveler information
    • Policies apply for the tour
    • Payment information
    • Payment details and discounts
    • Booking details
    • Functions corresponding to each single status (Cancel Booking, Review, Book again)

A tour booking, from the time the traveler makes a reservation until the tour is successfully completed, will go through the following statuses:

  1. Pending
    • Pending status includes tour bookings that are pending payment.
    • At the tour booking details interface awaiting payment, click Book Again to return to the tour details page and reselect the tour date.
  2. Confirmed
    • Confirmed status includes tour bookings that you have successfully paid for. 
    • You can choose to cancel your booking if you no longer wish to proceed with the tour.

      Steps to cancel a booking:

      1. At the paid tour booking interface, click Cancel Booking
      2. Select a reason for canceling the booking and then click Continue
      3. Click Cancel Booking (cancellation fee is calculated based on the tour's cancellation policy)
      4. A notification of successful booking cancellation appears, click Done
  3. In progress
    • In progress status includes ongoing tour bookings and services you’re using.
    • At the tour booking details interface in progress, click Book Again to return to the tour details page and rebook this tour.
  4. Completed
    • Completed status includes tour bookings that have been confirmed to complete by the tour agency.

      Steps to review tour experience:

      Note: Reviews cannot be edited or deleted once submitted. You can only access tour details to view your review.

      1. Click Review
      2. Complete the review:
        • Select overall travel experience
        • Enter review content
        • Add images/videos (if available)
        • Review according to each criterion: Value for money, Itinerary and Activities, Tour guide, Services offered, Location.
      3. Click Submit review
      4. Confirmation popup appears, click Submit to complete.
  5. Canceled
    • Canceled status includes tour bookings that you canceled during the non-refundable period.
    • At the canceled tour booking details interface, click Book Again to return to the tour details page and rebook this tour.
  6. Payment failed
    • Payment failed status includes tour bookings that you have not successfully paid for within the allowed time period.
    • At the tour booking details interface where the payment has failed, click Book Again to return to the tour details page and rebook this tour.
  7. Refund
    • Refund status includes tour bookings that you canceled during the allowed refund period. The bookings will be in Pending Refund or Refunded status.
    • At the tour booking details interface where a refund is pending or has been completed, click Book Again to return to the tour details page and rebook this tour.
