You can deactivate campaigns/ad groups/ads that are no longer relevant or need to be adjusted without deleting them. This helps you adjust your advertising strategy more effectively when needed.
Before deactivating a campaign/ad group/ad, you should note that:
- When deactivating a successful advertising campaign, the ad groups and ads belonging to that campaign will all deactivate simultaneously.
- When an ad group is successfully deactivated, the ads belonging to that ad group will all be deactivated at the same time, but the campaign of that ad group will remain in its original state.
- When an ad is successfully deactivated, the campaign and ad group of that ad remain in their original state.
Steps to deactivate a campaign/ad group/ad:
- Go to your Fanpage interface, click Advertise
at the top of the fanpage
- Select the type of account to create ads by clicking on the account box located in the upper left corner of the screen and select the type of ad account to manage, including Personal account, Business account or Shared business account
- Select the Campaign item in the left column of the advertising manager interface
- Select the corresponding campaigns/ads group/ads for which you want to deactivate
- At the corresponding campaign/ad group/ad you want to deactivate, click the icon
to deactivate.
- Go to your Fanpage interface, tap on Advertise
in the area below your profile picture
- Choose an ad account by tapping your personal account name at the top of the screen, then select Personal account, Business account or Shared business account
- Select the corresponding campaigns/ads group/ads for which you want to deactivate
Notes:
- The default interface shows campaigns
- To access the ad group folder, tap on the corresponding campaign name
- To access the ad folder, tap on the corresponding ad group name
- At the corresponding campaign/ad group/ad you want to deactivate, tap the action icon
and tap
to deactivate.
Before reactivating a campaign, ad group, or ad, please note the following:
- When reactivating a successful advertising campaign, the ad groups and ads belonging to that campaign remain in a deactivated state until they are set to reactivate in turn
- When reactivating an ad group successfully, that ad group's campaign will also be activated by default, but the ads belonging to that ad group will remain deactivated until they are reactivating again
- When an ad is successfully activated, the campaign and ad group of that ad will be activated by default.
Steps to reactivating your campaign/ad group/ad:
- Go to your Fanpage interface, click Advertise
at the top of the fanpage
- Select the type of account to create ads by clicking on the account box located in the upper left corner of the screen and select the type of ad account to manage, including Personal account, Business account or Shared business account
- Select the Campaign item in the left column of the advertising manager interface
- Select the corresponding campaigns/ads group/ads for which you want to resume
- At the corresponding campaign/ad group/ad you want to activate, click the icon
to reactivate.
- Go to your Fanpage interface, tap on Advertise
in the area below your profile picture Choose an ad account by tapping your personal account name at the top of the screen, then select Personal account, Business account or Shared business account Select the corresponding campaigns/ads group/ads for which you want to activate
Notes:
- The default interface shows the campaign folder
- To access the ad group folder, tap on the corresponding campaign name
- To access the ad folder, tap on the corresponding ad group name
- At the corresponding campaign/ad group/ad you want to activate, tap on the action icon
and tap on the Start button
to reactivate.
Note: Before editing a campaign/ad group/ad, you need to deactivate that campaign/ad group/ad. In case the campaign/ad group/ad has not been deactivated, the Edit button will be disabled.
Steps to edit a campaign/ad group/ad:
- Go to your Fanpage interface, click Advertise
at the top of the fanpage
- Select the type of account to create ads by clicking on the account box located in the upper left corner of the screen and select the type of ad account to manage, including: Personal account, Business account or Shared business account
- Select the Campaign item in the left column of the advertising manager interface
- Select the corresponding campaigns/ads group/ads for which you want to edit
- At the corresponding campaign/ad group/ad you want to edit, click the icon
and click Edit
- Proceed to edit, then click Save to complete.
- Go to your Fanpage interface, tap on Advertise
in the area below your profile picture
- Choose an ad account by tapping your personal account name at the top of the screen, then select Personal account, Business account or Shared business account
- Select the corresponding campaigns/ads group/ads for which you want to edit
Notes:
- The default interface shows the campaign folder
- To access the ad group folder, tap on the corresponding campaign name
- To access the ad folder, tap on the corresponding ad group name
- At the corresponding campaign/ad group/ad you want to edit, tap the icon
and tap Edit
- Proceed to edit, then tap Save to complete.
When there is no longer a need to activate a certain campaign/ad group/ad, removing a campaign/ad group/ad helps you free up ad manager space, keeping your list tidy and easier to manage, while also helping you analyze advertising performance better.
Notes:
- Before removing a campaign/ad group/ad, you need to deactivate that campaign/ad group/ad. In case the campaign/ad group/ad has not been deactivated, the Delete button will be disabled.
- Campaigns/ad groups/ads cannot be restored once removed.
Steps to remove a campaign/ad group/ad:
- Go to your Fanpage interface, click Advertise

- Select the type of account to create ads by clicking on the account box located in the upper left corner of the screen and select the type of ad account to manage, including Personal account, Business account or Shared business account
- Select the Campaign item in the left column of the advertising manager interface
- Select the corresponding campaigns/ads group/ads for which you want to remove
- At the corresponding campaign/ad group/ad you want to remove, click the icon
and click Delete
- When the removing confirmation interface appears, continue clicking Delete to complete.
- Go to your Fanpage interface, tap on Advertise
in the area below your profile picture
- Choose an ad account by tapping your personal account name at the top of the screen, then select: Personal account, Business account or Shared business account
- Select the corresponding campaigns/ads group/ads for which you want to remove

- At the corresponding campaign/ad group/ad you want to remove, tap the icon
and tap Delete
