My places section helps you save and manage your favorite places, from coffee shops to famous tourist attractions. You can create new public places on the map, share useful and interesting places with others, or create private places for your own use. This feature also allows you to view directions between two places and explore the map by categories such as dining, shopping, or hotels, making it easier for you to track and plan your trips.
At the homepage interface, click on the icon on the toolbar and then go to My places.
- Right-click on the desired location and then select Create place
- Enter place information:
- Enter place name
- Select a place category
- Enter a particular address of the place
- Enter a headline (if any)
- Enter description (if any)
- Upload place images
- Tick the checkbox Publish this place if you want to make it public.
The place will be reviewed by the Soctrip team before going public
- Click Save to finish creating the new place.
Steps to edit place information:
- At the place you want to edit, click on the more button
then click Edit place
- Update the information and then click Save to finish editing.
Steps to delete a place:
- At the place you want to delete, click on the more button
- When a confirmation message appears, click Delete.
Option 1: Click on the compass icon and then select a starting point and a destination to see directions.
Option 2: Right-click on the map area and then select a Starting point and an Ending point to see directions.

- Tick to select place categories that you want to view on map:
- Click Select all to view all categories at the same time.
- Click Clear all to deselect the selected categories.
- Tap Menu on the bottom menu bar
- Select My Places
- Tap Add place
- Move the
icon to the location where you want to add a place and then tap on the icon
- Enter place information:
- Enter place name
- Select a place category. Tick on a suitable place category and then tap Apply
- Enter a particular address of the place
- Enter a headline (if any)
- Enter description (if any)
- Upload place images
- Tick the checkbox Publish this place if you want to make it public.
The place will be reviewed by the Soctrip team before going public
- Tap Save to finish creating the new place.
Steps to edit place information:
- Tap on the more button
- Tap Edit
- Update the information and then tap Save to finish.
Steps to delete a place:
- Tap on the more button
- Tap Delete
- When a confirmation message appears, tap Delete to finish.

- Enter a starting point and a destination to view directions.
